Today there was a blood donation drive beside the auditorium. Dennis was so enthu abt the whole thing, while ziyang was terrified abt the idea. haha. He got all of us to go donate our blood. So we went to register ourselves. Half way thru a doc came up to ask and asked us several qns. "Any of u took malaria vaacination pills yesterday?" ... And so i cant donate. "Any of you had fever cough or flu in the last 2-4 weeks?" ... Dennis was out too. ziyang and yap were able to donate. Yap's blood started oozing into the bag when suddenly the vein contracted and the needle came out, cosing his arm to swell and have blue black. Poorthing. Our last standing hero is ziyang the one who was scared in the 1st place ! haha. irony. Becos we registered ourselves we werelet off 1 hr earlier!. keke.

Eve: Spent it with yap and dennis. Its a beginning of a new friendship. Yap, dennis, ziyang and me. We were from the same platoon and now we are posted to the airforce. We met for dinner. Helped dennis find a xmas gift for his fren. Went to the arcade and play for a while. Had supper, slacked chilled and talk cock. You all know how on the 1st date u try ur best not to do or say anything stupid. Dennis was telling us, one day he went out with this ger. They went to a cafe and he asked her wat she wanted to drink. She said latte. And so he came back with her latte. She took a sip and exclaimed, " Is this latte?!". At this point of time, dennis was worried he bought her the wrong drink. "You asked for latte right?", dennis asked. "Ya, but this drink has coffee inside", she replied. WHAHAHA!

Its 12 and we decided to head home. I met kel and jon at the 24hr coffeeshop at cck. We walked to my house thinking there was no more bus. As we are abt to reach my place, a bus went past us. -.-" We played nfs, some guitar some cards and drank. Jon played fifa like siao. haha. We exchanged pressies and i got jon's. He got a gundam collector's item set. Quite cool.

We slept for awhile den we headed off to beach road cos jon needed to get some stuff for his army. We rushed to ps to watch Narnia. Its quite a good show i think. After that i met the TS. We had dinner at Swensens. Got to eat my long awaited eartquake. haha. We exchanged pressies. Everybody cant wait to see wat i was going to give cos, my present was quite big, but feels very empty. haha. It was a small nike bottle. Quite cute. I got steph's pressie which was 2 towels and a tea tree bath/lotion set. We went to find weiqiang at somerset mrt station. He so poorthing, had to patrol on xmas day. Oh well, its due to pple like u, thats y we have a safe xmas ! haa. anyways, we went to acid bar to drink and chill. When we entered thay had this min of 1 bottle or 2 jugs thingy. We were considering den there was this lady who kept pushing us. And her attitude was rude man. "Its only 200 bucks, not like its 500 bucks" WTH ! We left right away. We went over to TCC. We were thinking later need to buy a min of 20 pots of tea how? haha. Anyway we chilled at the sofa area. The waiter asked if we wanted ice or cold water. Den we looked at him. Whats the dif. Haha. ya la, one got ice and one without, but usually they ask cold or warm water ma. We slacked and plan our next outing which is during CNY. Headed home after that.

signing off,
Don.

This week is my AOP: Airforce Orientation Program. 1st day we spend like half a day doing adminstrative stuff. We got our no.3 and shoes etc. Den it was lectures all the way till fri ! They lectures last like 15 mins to 30 mins and after each lectures we got breaks from 15 mins to 1hr plus. Most of the breaks we sleep, or head to the canteen or mart. It really mental torture trying to stay awake for the lectures and theres too many waiting time, such that it becomes stale and boring. Anyways looking at the brightside, there are lots of facilities here in the air force school. Tennis, badminton, street soccer, basketball court, swimming pool, pub, arcade, pool centre, gym and hell lots more. I will have to stay in soon for abt 5 weeks to 2 months for my training and i look forward to the various activities i can indulge in. haha.

Oh and xmas is here ! Merry xmas to all ! May u recieve lots of pressies and me too. hehe.

Yet another adventure for us! This time we headed for KL. Mun, piggy, yogi and me formed the Kuala Lumpur Syndicate.

Due to the sudden decision, we were left realizing that most of the hotels have been fully booked. We had to search for one when we get there.

We arrived in the wee hrs of the morning. This taxi driver approached us and we told him where we wanted to go (The hotel which yogi aunty recommended). He said $15, not knowing where the place was, we took up the offer. We jus got cheated. It was like 5 mins drive and we reached already. !@#$ %^&*() _+|! We went around hunting for a nice yet cheap hotel to reside for the few days. We walked and walked searching high and low. The more we moved the more demoralized we got. Every time we entered a hotel, it’s either full or above our budget. So on that cold dreading hr; we had to sleep by the bus stop.

Sighs. Pathetic isn’t it. Not! We are not KLS for nothing, mighty and street smart we are, we found a suitable hotel at Jalan Ipoh. Bestotel!

We could only check in at 9am, so we slept at the lobby for awhile. After which we went for breakfast at some shop 300m away. All the plates and stuff are so small; on the contrary the pao is so so big!!! But the food is jus average.

We went back to relax for a while den headed to get our return ticket to ensure we could go home on time. Now that things r settled, its shopping eating time! We took out our handy dandy map and started to plan our adventure.

1st destination: Time Square! The place is quite a nice place to window shop. There’s an indoor amusement park inside too! We spent almost the whole day there!

We had tea at Starbucks !

Next we went over to another shopping center. It was like a bit like Far East shopping center. There was nth much to see. It dinner time!! Woohoo. We are going to meet munie hoe’s cuz and her friend. We requested them to take us to some seafood restaurant so we could have a scrumptious dinner!!

We took the monorail to KL Sentral where we waited for his cuz.

Then we took the train to KLCC. The shopping centre there is like Paragon. And so they brought us to eat seafood but not exactly what we had in mind. We ate at Manhattan Fish Market. After dinner we took some photos outside with the Petronas twin tower.

Feeling a bit exhausted from all the walking we decided to head back to chill and relax. We flagged for a cab. As you all may know, most of the time at night we have to negotiate a fare for the taxi ride instead of meter. But if you do come across one which runs with meter do take that cab, its much cheaper. Yea so the 1st cab came to us. 20 bucks? Nah, too expensive. The taxi driver still can argue back, saying all the taxi will charge $20. We walked away and he came out of his taxi to come and further negotiate with us. We walk further down and another cab came. $15 this time, we rejected. He too came out of his taxi and offered $14. This time the 2 taxi drivers walked to each other as if they wanted to fight. Haa. We ignored them and walk down. In Malaysia you do not need to be afraid there’s no cab around. There are tones of them hunting us down. And so a 3rd cab came and offered $10 bucks and we were on our way back =). All cabs will charge $20 my ass! We went back cleaned up, had some doughnuts for supper. We were all quite tired, so we knocked out soon after.

Next day we woke up around noon. Piggy had such a bad night. She could not sleep well because we joined 3 beds together and 4 persons sharing. She happened to sleep on the gap and she got squashed by yogi and munie hoe. Heh. Well, we headed down to a Chinese restaurant to have lunch. Yum! Ordered Shark fins soup, half a duck, some veg. The food was not too bad. More shopping! Shop and shop and shop.

Headed back to KLCC again. While walking to KLCC we took some pics jus for the fun of it.

This time we went there for A&W dinner! WooHoo! The root beer float is simply heavenly. Keke. We explored the whole place and next stop: Zouk! We walked around, trying to follow the directions the taxi driver told us the night before. Bingo mighty KLS found it! Well jus for your info, zouk opens from Thurs to Sat while velvet underground opens from Tues to Sat. Ladies night for zouk is on Thursday. The prices are dif for dif days. Sometimes it’s free or $25 or $30 or $35.

We went back after that. Next morning we packed our stuff and headed back to home sweet home!
