Yesterday's Digital Life was mentioning abt piracy, so i decided to share my views regarding this since its happening all around us. They were saying even though pple knew that downloading music, movies and installations is a illegal, they still go abt doing it. Some claim that its free ( typical singaporeans; anything free also take); everybody is doing it, so they r doing it too; some say buying is too expensive. There are some sites such as soundbuzz which are legal sites offering downloadable songs. Each track is priced at around 2 dollars. 2 bucks for 1 single track ??? What is this man, and they say its affordable? 1 CD compilation usually has ard 18 songs, which cost around $20. 18 songs*$2 = $36 ...... hmmm....

It was reported that in New Zealand, the folks are ashamed when invited guests see pirated cds etc in the house. Well, i m sure all of u will agree with me that in Singapore, its a 180 degrees switch. Everytime i have family gathering, my uncle will go around, promoting the new pirated movies which he bought from m'sia. Telling us how cheap it is and lending it to us to watch. heh.

And the latest insane thing that the cinemas have done. In cinemas, they have ads saying "You wun steal a car, watch ... a CD, movie piracy is stealing ...". But looking at their movement, they jus hiked up the price of movie tickets which is their latest "Support Piracy Campaign". Man, $9.50 to watch a movie, the no. of pple watching would surely decrease, i dare say.

To avoid trouble, i shall end this entry by saying, Piracy is wrong ! You wun steal a CD, but u will d/l songs ... send to me after tt k, Thanks ! haha.

Oh ya, enuff abt piracy, theres this webbie which allows u to create ur very own family tree and u can find ur long lost relatives etc. Try it ! They are having a 1 yr pilot phase, so do join now if u r interested !

Another outing with the TS, on a wonderful sat night. I met mun at orchard mrt 1st. We played 3 rounds of pool den head off to novena to meet lionel den meet piggy at united sq. Its great to see them again. We entered the restaurant 1st as we made reservation at 7. Yogi said she will be joining us later. We had lots of fun, eating crapping ard, luffing and our fav; taking fotos ! haha. Almost all are working, piggy got 3 jobs !! Yogi is working at some place near her house. Mun still same job and the laziest and slackest of all, Mr Lionel without any job. heh. After dinner we walked in United Sq for a while to digest. We were all so bloated and full. We saw a stage and since there was no one around, me and lionel decided to give a short performance, displaying our wonderful acting skills. The backdrop was some granslazer pictures sth like powerranger. So we were did some lame mimic of the rangers fighting. haha. soon, there were audience looking down watching us. haha. well, life is short, its fun to do stupid things at times as long as we enjoy it. We took more fotos and headed home. I would like to thank mun for treating me to such a classy, expensive scrumptious buffet. hahaha.

Heres a write up (rating) of Vienna Restaurant:
Location: United Square, Novena.
Rating: 8/10
Price: S$40.00 per person
The design and embience is pretty classy. Its bright all around giving it a sparkle esp how it stands out at night. There area is not too big, around 30 tables in all. Approximately 7 of which are located in an enclosed room; more for reservations i suspect. The table size is slightly squeezy, but its not a big fuss. They serve a wide variety of food consisting of japanese sushis, savoury sashimi, fresh oyster, black pepper crab, crocodile soup, shark fins, soup, buddha jump over the wall. They have a selection of cakes and pastry. Located at the back, if the teppan yaki counter, where you can select a few types of meat such a chicken, dory, lamb and pregnant fish. You place wat u want on the plate and clip ur table no. which can be found on ur table. Give it to the chef and they would serve it to u later. Some of the other food worth highlighting are the fried durian and delicious scallops. I would say the food is quite good. However all the staff were from China and some pretty bad at english. This would make communication with the english speaking a little difficult. But all in all, its good. I would recommend it.

We were discussing how come since all the staff are of chinese nationality, y not call it Guang Zhou Restaurant instead. Well, we guess if they go by Guang Zhou Restaurant, it will be empty and close in a few weeks time. So they must use some posh western name to attract pple to come, only to find out .... Its not a stab at the PRC !! I got nth against them, its munie hoe !!! haha.

Did u guys read ytd newspaper? The digital portion that is. Well, if u haven, let me fill u in a lil. There were articles about how bloggers have huge influence on the pple and the massive no. of fans they actually have. I rmb in my 1st post i said i wanted to set up this blog with the intention of making good euff to wun an award jus like wendy cheng's. In the article, she said sth like her comments can make others change their opinion towards sth or someone. Right, so here i am with this crappy layout and entries made once in a blue moon. No wonder the no. of pple coming in here to have a look is sooooo pathetic.

Well, after reading the articles, i m inspired once again! I am going to rule the blogging galaxy. They have a lot of fans? Their opinions and comments have great influence on others? So what ! I am going to have an army ! My ideals and thoughts will start World War III. So, friends, brothers, sisters. All of u out there, pls do me a favour, spread my link ard and tell the whole world about me !! Let the invasion, the infection begin !!!

Ok, i noe many pple if not all will feel like slapping my face to try to wake me up from my dreams or because i just wasted their time reading this lame shit. Sian, like tt how to ever rule the blogging world. Demoralised, feel like giving up liao. But i noe u guys wun give up on me !! Man, i better stop all this contradictions. its a sat night ... looking forward to clubbing, after all its been a while since i last club. Met jon and kel 1st, went to kfc for dinner. Gav was still on his way home. So we went ahead 1st. We entered cb 1st and get our chop den came out again. Kel and jon went to some pub to watch the long awaited man utd-arsenal match. (which arsenal did not deserve to win !!) So i waited there for gav to come. he said he would be there in 30mins. And finally he arrives. So we entered 1st and found a table at the back. We slacked there for a while. Ordered 3 jugs of drinks. We were waiting for kel and jon to arrive. So we justed chatted 1st. After a while, it started to get a bit boring jus sitting, sometimes playing nice music, sometimes crap. Gav was sick, having cough, sorethroat and flu and i just shared 2 jugs with him .. hmmmm. Tick tock tick tock, still sitting at the table. Received a fonecall, oooh Cheryl called !! Asked me where i was. She tot i was going dbl O. she told her frenz to go dbl O. and here i was in cb, so she wun be joining us. haizz.. wat a heart breaker. time crawling pass us. its 11 plus. Oh saw ah john ... heh ... chatted with him for a while den he went to join his frenz. its abt 12 right now. called kel and he said its extra time. oooohhhh, we hecked waiting for them, so we left the table and started dancing. well it started out fine. den it jus got worst. somebody pls teach me how to dance hip hop !!!! its like slow hip hop and den ive been dancing the same steps over and over again. how sian!! it got to a pt when i m dancing and i turn one round and 360 degrees all guys !!!! pui ! Kel and jon came in ard 3am. haha ... tts like 1 - 2 hrs of clubbing ... cos they had to Q over and 1hr jus to re enter. Think they were crying outside. lol. Well, in the end neither of us enjoyed ourselves and i dont think i will go back there again. unless some mei nus asked me to. hahaha. We went out of the club ard 4-5 den went mac. Jon and gav were having supper. Kel and I went to walk a bit den came back. Gav and i slept a lil, jon played with his hp and kel with his fingers. haha. Anyway, we were waiting for the 1st MRT. So once it was 6am, we walked to the mrt station.

We were heading down to bugis. Well its Sun and its Vesak Day. So we went to the Kwan Yin Temple to pray. hmmmm. How sinful, the night b4 we were drinking alcoholic drinks, our shirt smelled of smoke. haha. think we are the 1st to do such things man, Go temple pray right after clubbing. Man, we were so shagged already. Headed right home soon after ....

Its been 2 weeks, since we came back from tioman. Its sat and we are having our reunion. woohoo ! Morning met gav, steph and piggy. We had mac breakfast den went down to ntu for the biological sciences open day. Well only 2 things i looked forward to; lunch which was not too bad and some good looking gers. Well, no interesting things to comment already, tho they are so proud of how many windows their buildings have etc, putting them in a slide under interesting facts..-.-".

After which we went to yogi house. Our main purpose of the meeting was to pass the fotos taken in tioman ard and oso to catch up with one another la. Well, it was hell lot of fun. We baked cakes, made sushi, had japanese curry and made lime sorbet. yum yum, sounds like a feast huh !
We baked 3 chocolate cakes. The 1st one was yummy !!! The 2nd one was hard as rock (But still breakable using piggy excellent karate skills) and 3rd soft as mud, k not tt soft, a bit too soft la. Well, the sushi was quite tasty actually, thanz to mun excellent rolling skills, haha roll until the rice all poping out from the seaweed. Lionel made the curry at home and brought it over, yum yum !! Well, the most delicious is of cos my lime sorbet, soooo successful and the best !! haha. well if u wanna noe more abt my sorbet jus refer to the tag board, i m sure they got lots to say (oppose). For dinner we oso fried some fish fillet fingers, nuggets and japanese fried chicken(best). i recommend it. really gd.

Not forgettting to mention the rabbits, better mention steph 1st, else later she tot i forget her. steph joined us too, but could not stayed for dinner, how unfortunate. back to the rabbits, they are really adorable ! they will always squeeze out of the cage and run abt in the house.

A lot of 1st times here, its the 1st time piggy and yogi bake cake for frenz, its the 1st time mun make sushi for frenz, its the 1st time leo cook for frenz, its the 1st time i learn wat team spirit is all abt from my wonder frenz. They were all toking abt having gd team spirit then we needed to get more butter to make more cake. I had to go down alone to buy the butter !!! man, team leader sure got its many benefits like team members giving him more privacy, a whole new meaning of team spirit. haha, love u guys anyway. take care till we meet again, tt is at my house right ... must start planning wat our TSC (Tioman syndicate Cafe) menu is liao. cheese cake? anyone? ....

Well, jus in case some of u do not know, while waiting for my enlistment into the army, i am currently working in Shell company as an account assistant. So on fri, shell had this event called Shell CLub Nite. I tot it would be a bit boring cos, i knew no one, but who would expect it to be rather fun and interesting ! The MC is good man, a natural entertainer ! He started off with some jokes, here how it goes;
One day the president from the USA went to Africa. He wanted to improve the lifestyle of the pple there. He went to a village to give a speech.
President: I will build schools and hospitals for u all.
Villagers shouted : Hom Gali Gali !!
The president smiled as he did not expected to get such a gd response from the crowd.
President: I will build houses and improve your lifestyles.
Villagers shouted: Hom Gali Gali.
That night he told his wife how happy he was after getting such a great support from the villagers. The next day he went for a walk with the African minister. They were walking thru a farm rearing bulls. Suddenly the African minister pointed to the dung and said " Becareful!! Dun step on the Hom Gali Gali."
Heres another joke.
One day a mother wanted to visit her son. She knocked on the door and waited for the door to be opened. The door was swung open, only to see her daughter standing in front of her nude. She was shocked and asked her watz this abt. Her daugther-in-law said this is her new sexy dress and she wanted to surprise her husband. The next day, she wanted to do the same for the old man. When she heard someone knocking of the door she stripped and went to open the door. Her husband was shocked and excited. He asked, " Watz with u my wife?" She replied, " This is my new sexy dress, how do u find it?" He said" Well, its not bad, except next time pls iron it 1st."
One of the games played was Mr Bukom (Man hunt thingy). Pulau Bukom is where i am working. Each male from different nationality were picked and they were to change into singlets. While they were changing, the mc told us to pick the one with the most armpit hair! haa. So when they came back, they played some music and men started lifting theirs arms like some man hunt competition. Guess wat, all 5 men from bangladesh, myanmar, india, singapore and bukom. ALL oso botak !!! no arm pit hair .. all 5 men !! cant believe it ...
They had 2 bukom's very own live bands performing tt night. They will not too bad rocking the house with some gd music. They even had this indian guy dressed in glittering decorations performing to some indian song called Wop-Per-Day! The most amusing and entertaining part is at the dance floor. Man, singaporeans are too conservative and shy. The only pple at the dance floor are the indians, bangladesh and thai pple etc. Yea, looked like some indian disco man. Indians are the most versatile dancers man, its proven !! They can dance to any genre of songs man. serious. cos they anyhow dance la. haha. hey peeps, dun be offended k. i love bollywood dancers man. jus tt these are contractors, so they anyhow dance la. like me, so versatile, everytime go clubbing, any type of songs oso can, cos anyhow dance. Jus saying this, cos i dun want to be the creator of a racial riot in singapore. There was this thai guy, dancing some muay thai drunken fist style. wah dance from beginning to end tgt with some other indian guys.

Well, the reason i stayed for this event is for the lucky draw, where the 1st prize is a sony camera worth more den $500. Well, obviously i did not win it, but the event was a fun night. The mc was saying " why u all so sad looking, jus treat it as an unlucky draw la". Most of us were winners then ! cos all of us were unlucky. haha. Well, by the end of the event, all the contractors were high man. Went to the ferry terminal all were shouting Wop-Per-Day !!! Went inside the ferry all were shouting Wop-Per-Day !!! Reached singapore, all were still shouting Wop-Per-Day !!! Went inside my colleauge's car, i was shouting Wop-Per-Day !!! lol. After tt met jon for movie.

Not forgettting to mention the rabbits, better mention steph 1st, else later she tot i forget her. steph joined us too, but could not stayed for dinner, how unfortunate. back to the rabbits, they are really adorable ! they will always squeeze out of the cage and run abt in the house.

A lot of 1st times here, its the 1st time piggy and yogi bake cake for frenz, its the 1st time mun make sushi for frenz, its the 1st time leo cook for frenz, its the 1st time i learn wat team spirit is all abt from my wonder frenz. They were all toking abt having gd team spirit then we needed to get more butter to make more cake. I had to go down alone to buy the butter !!! man, team leader sure got its many benefits like team members giving him more privacy, a whole new meaning of team spirit. haha, love u guys anyway. take care till we meet again, tt is at my house right ... must start planning wat our TSC (Tioman syndicate Cafe) menu is liao. cheese cake? anyone? ....

Well, jus in case some of u do not know, while waiting for my enlistment into the army, i am currently working in Shell company as an account assistant. So on fri, shell had this event called Shell CLub Nite. I tot it would be a bit boring cos, i knew no one, but who would expect it to be rather fun and interesting ! The MC is good man, a natural entertainer ! He started off with some jokes, here how it goes;
One day the president from the USA went to Africa. He wanted to improve the lifestyle of the pple there. He went to a village to give a speech.
President: I will build schools and hospitals for u all.
Villagers shouted : Hom Gali Gali !!
The president smiled as he did not expected to get such a gd response from the crowd.
President: I will build houses and improve your lifestyles.
Villagers shouted: Hom Gali Gali.
That night he told his wife how happy he was after getting such a great support from the villagers. The next day he went for a walk with the African minister. They were walking thru a farm rearing bulls. Suddenly the African minister pointed to the dung and said " Becareful!! Dun step on the Hom Gali Gali."
Heres another joke.
One day a mother wanted to visit her son. She knocked on the door and waited for the door to be opened. The door was swung open, only to see her daughter standing in front of her nude. She was shocked and asked her watz this abt. Her daugther-in-law said this is her new sexy dress and she wanted to surprise her husband. The next day, she wanted to do the same for the old man. When she heard someone knocking of the door she stripped and went to open the door. Her husband was shocked and excited. He asked, " Watz with u my wife?" She replied, " This is my new sexy dress, how do u find it?" He said" Well, its not bad, except next time pls iron it 1st."
One of the games played was Mr Bukom (Man hunt thingy). Pulau Bukom is where i am working. Each male from different nationality were picked and they were to change into singlets. While they were changing, the mc told us to pick the one with the most armpit hair! haa. So when they came back, they played some music and men started lifting theirs arms like some man hunt competition. Guess wat, all 5 men from bangladesh, myanmar, india, singapore and bukom. ALL oso botak !!! no arm pit hair .. all 5 men !! cant believe it ...
They had 2 bukom's very own live bands performing tt night. They will not too bad rocking the house with some gd music. They even had this indian guy dressed in glittering decorations performing to some indian song called Wop-Per-Day! The most amusing and entertaining part is at the dance floor. Man, singaporeans are too conservative and shy. The only pple at the dance floor are the indians, bangladesh and thai pple etc. Yea, looked like some indian disco man. Indians are the most versatile dancers man, its proven !! They can dance to any genre of songs man. serious. cos they anyhow dance la. haha. hey peeps, dun be offended k. i love bollywood dancers man. jus tt these are contractors, so they anyhow dance la. like me, so versatile, everytime go clubbing, any type of songs oso can, cos anyhow dance. Jus saying this, cos i dun want to be the creator of a racial riot in singapore. There was this thai guy, dancing some muay thai drunken fist style. wah dance from beginning to end tgt with some other indian guys.

Well, the reason i stayed for this event is for the lucky draw, where the 1st prize is a sony camera worth more den $500. Well, obviously i did not win it, but the event was a fun night. The mc was saying " why u all so sad looking, jus treat it as an unlucky draw la". Most of us were winners then ! cos all of us were unlucky. haha. Well, by the end of the event, all the contractors were high man. Went to the ferry terminal all were shouting Wop-Per-Day !!! Went inside the ferry all were shouting Wop-Per-Day !!! Reached singapore, all were still shouting Wop-Per-Day !!! Went inside my colleauge's car, i was shouting Wop-Per-Day !!! lol. After tt met jon for movie.
