Slick cars, cool hunks and cute babes. Car racing movies are alwats cool. Initial D originally a car racing anime tells the story of a boy (Takumi) ignorant of cars becoming a racer. He knows how to drive because, his dad make him deliver tofu everyday. For 5 years he would drive downhill to make delivery. As each day past, the amount of time he takes to deliver becomes shorter from 1 hr to 4 mins. He is the best racer in Mt Akina and all the other well known racers want to challenge him. Might not appeal to all viewers, but as long as u r a racing fan, its a must watch. The drifts are beautiful and not to be missed. For some extra juices, Takumi would join the Red Suns Team's No. 1 racer and form a team called Project D.
I rate the movie 4/5.
